Dear God, we thank you for the blessings we sometimes take for granted. Our eyes. With this gift, we can see the beauty that surrounds us. The sunrise, the sunset. The moon and the stars that shine for us at night. The beaches, hills and mountains... To have the sight to see our loved ones, friends and others. What a gift! And yet at times we choose to see the negatives Lord. About people, how they have hurt us and wronged us, why life is not working out the way we want it...
Forgive us dear God. For failing to remember your love for us at those moments. To remember that You will always be faithful with your promises. That You will always be our justice and our avenger when we are wronged. That You will always be our provider when debts our sky high and we don't know how we can pay it. For You are Jehovah Jirah. Our Provider! You will never fail us!
Whisper to us and remind us to always see the beauty in our lives and in others. To let go of the things that keep us down, make us cynical and make us blind. And to let in the things that build us, enrich us and edify us. For you God, is Good. Yes Lord. You are always Good all the time!
Let your grace allow your Love to magnify within us. That we may see ourselves, others and our life through your eyes.
We thank you and we praise You for this precious gift dear Lord. Amen.
