Do you often times wake up cranky in the morning? Because you have to go to work or go to school? Do you ask why does this always happen to me? Why do people treat me this way? Why do you feel or look like crap? LOL! Seriously, do you realize they all have negative connotations?
If you do, pause for a moment and realize that if you keep thinking this way and ask questions the way you have been it really does not improve your situation, how you feel about yourself and about your life does it?
In my previous blog dated January 28 titled "Take Care of your Mind", You take care of your Life", I wrote that our brain is like a computer chip. It obeys our every command! If you ask it "why am I so fat" it will search for answers and tell you "you're fat because you are a turkey and you eat too much"! Ask and you shall receive! How about if you ask questions like "how can I make myself more thin and enjoy the process?" Ahhh... there you go! See, if you ask better questions, you get better answers. Asking "why" questions which we call "loop" questions doesn't go anywhere. It already pre-supposes a situation that is already is. Your brain searches for answers based on the type of question you ask. Sometimes it's does not even have any basis in reality. In contrast, if you ask, "what's great about my life right now"? Really think... you just don't go, let's see, well... nothing! C'mon :) really spend time for the answer. If you do, you will get precisely the answers to your question on "what's great about your life! If you want to improve the quality of your life, improve the quality of your questions.
Instead of going with the notions and motions of your routines - take charge of your steering wheel and take control! If you won't life will control you on the direction you're not satisfied anyway. Will you allow me to share with you a more effective way of improving how you feel about yourself and about your life? Try doing this simple and easy exercise with me would you? When you wake up in the morning make a habit of asking yourself at least 5 empowering questions.
For example:
- What's exciting about my job or school I have not noticed?
- What positive things will happen to me today?
- What makes me so alive this morning?
- What is wonderful with my husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, children today?
- What makes me so happy and successful today?
Just try it for 7 days and see the difference!
I shared this concept 19 years ago to a great friend of mine. We lost touch with one another for 7 years. When I saw him we had a quick lunch to catch up. The first thing he said was, besides being a great friend Victor, if there was one thing that you taught me that changed my entire life "is to ask empowering questions". He said, when he's confused or at a lost or feels he was getting complacent, he will start asking empowering questions. It worked for him. It worked for me. It will work for you!

Prophecies of 2012
It's always good to be aware of things such as these. This is not to scare anyone but to keep everyone informed. Here's an article I came across from suite101.com.

The appearance of two suns has often been prophesized has a sign for the end of times. New science claims that two suns may be on its way - coincidence?
Brad Carter, senior lecturer of physics at the University of Southern Queensland, claims that the Earth may soon see a second sun by 2012.
At first glance this may seem like another 2012 conspiracy theory, however, scientific evidence is now proclaiming that the second largest star in the Orion constellation, Betelgeuse, is expected to go supernova.
A supernova is a stellar explosion that is extremely bright causing a burst of radiation that outshines an entire galaxy. It is caused when a gravitational collapse is occurring.
“This old star is running out of fuel in its center”, Carter said. “This fuel keeps Betelgeuse shining and supported. When this fuel runs out the star will literally collapse in upon itself and it will do so very quickly.”
“This is the final hurrah for the star. It goes bang, it explodes, it lights up – we’ll have incredible brightness for a brief period of time for a couple of weeks and then over the coming months it begins to fade then eventually it will be very hard to see at all.”
Although it can not be certain why Carter choose to use the date 2012 in his initial lecture, the announcement was later followed up by U.S. Astronomer Phil Plait who explained that there is no reason to think Betelgeuse will explode in 2012.
"Betelgeuse might go up tonight, or it might not be for 100,000 years. We're just not sure." said Plait.
Nibiru
Controversial author Zecharia Sitchin suggested that the planet Nibiru (also known as the Planet of the Crossing, Marduk, or Planet X) from ancient Sumerian mythology will appear in our sky as a second sun in 2011. Sitchin’s ideas are based upon ancient Sumerian clay tablets that detailed a map of the galaxy and revealed that gods from Nibiru arrived on Earth 450,000 years ago. According to Sitchin, Nibiru has an elongated elliptical orbit that circles our sun every 3,600 years. Nibiru was allegedly photographed in Japan on February 28, 2008.
Supports of Sitchin believe that the coming of Nibiru will bring terrifying consequences in 2012 that seem to be identical to other 2012 doomsday theories. They fear that the planet will cause earthquakes, tidal waves, severe flooding, meteor storms, and volcanic eruptions.
Biblical Prophecy
There are some that believe that the Biblical message of the rising of the Sun of righteousness is a prophecy of the coming of a second sun.
Malachi 4: 1 and 2
"For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."
Nostradamus Predictions
It is said that the quatrains by Nostradamus can be open to many interpretations, leaving the reader to believe what he or she wishes to believe. That being said, the two suns that appear in quatrain 2/41 may mean many things to different people.
"La grande estoille par sept jours bruslera, Nuee fera deux soleils apparoir, Le gros mastin toute nuict hurlera, Quand grand pontife changera de terroir."
Translation:
"The great star will burn for seven days, The cloud will cause two suns to appear, The large mastiff will howl all night, When the great pontiff will change country."
The Hopi Blue Star Kachina
Hopi Indian prophecy asserts, "When the Blue Star Kachina (Sirius) makes its appearance in the heavens, the Fifth World will emerge".
The Hopi believe this is the time of the Great Purification.
(Sirius is also known as the "Dog Star", reflecting its prominence in its constellation, Canis Major (Big Dog).)
Maya, Naua, Aztec
The legends of Maya, Naua, and Aztec tell of the appearance of two suns and their chaotic movement in the sky which 'overturns’ the Earth.
Coincidence
Whether or not Betelgeuse is the prophesized coming second sun, if the second sun is still mysteriously hiding in the heavens, or if all of it is a bunch of malarkey, it gives us all something more to talk about as 2012 approaches.

Brunch Style Omelet Torte A Must Try
"This recipe requires some time to prepare, but is sensational for a special breakfast or brunch." I saw this recipe at allrecipes.com contributed By: Michele O'Sullivan.
Take it from me who loves food and enjoy cooking. TRY IT! If you usually are busy then maybe it's a wonderful idea to save this on a special occasion. Say Valentine's Day? Maybe an anniversary. Or maybe you just want to pamper yourself one morning. You can't go wrong with this! A Yummy breakfast Omelet Torte.
Ingredients
* 1 (17.5 ounce) package frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
* 1/4 cup butter
* 6 red potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/8 inch thick
* 1 onion, thinly sliced into rings
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 2 tablespoons butter, divided
* 6 eggs
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
* 1 pinch salt
* 1 pinch black pepper
* 2 tablespoons water
* 8 ounces cooked ham, thinly sliced
* 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
* 1 egg
* 1 tablespoon water
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). On lightly floured surface, roll each sheet of puff pastry into a 12 inch square. Lay 1 sheet puff pastry into a 10 inch pie plate; set aside.
2. In a 10 inch skillet, melt 1/4 cup butter until sizzling. Add potatoes, onion, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Cover and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until potatoes are lightly browned and crisply tender, about 12 to 15 minutes. Set aside.
3. In a new skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter until sizzling. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together all omelet ingredients except remaining 1 tablespoon butter. Pour half of omelet mixture (3/4 cup) into heated skillet. Cook over medium heat. As omelet mixture sets, lift slightly with spatula to allow uncooked portion to flow underneath. Continue cooking until set, about 2 to 3 minutes. Slide omelet onto cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining butter and omelet mixture.
4. Layer ingredients into pie plate on top of puff pastry in the following order: one of the omelets, 4 ounces ham, half of fried the potatoes, 1 cup shredded cheese, remaining potatoes, ham, cheese and 2nd omelet. Top with remaining sheet of puff pastry. Press together edges of both sheets of puff pastry to form a rim; trim off excess. Crimp or flute edges. In small bowl, stir together 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water; brush over puff pastry.
5. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes; cut into wedges.
