Our Morning Prayer - Day 2

Good morning Lord...

You said that whenever 2 or 3 are gathered in your name you will be there in their midst. Myself and the person praying with me today on this first day of Lent give you thanks and all the praise for your Goodness, Mercy and Love. A Love that knows no bounds or conditions. Though we might not understand everything about You and your ways we know one things is absolutely and definitely true - That You Love us so much that You sent your only Son to die for our sins. Though we may stumble along the way there You are waiting... patiently...and lovingly...

Light my way O Lord especially in times when I am afraid... confused... and lost... Remind me of Your words and promises that assures me that You will always be there for me. When the cares of the world start to get to me, fill my cup... my well when it runs dry. And let me rest to your green pastures as You refresh me and give me new strength.

Today as I walk out in this world let Your Light shine through me to spread and share your message of Love and Forgiveness that it may give them hope like I hope in You.
